Cologne, 1265 — a city under siege, its streets brimming with unrest and uneasy alliances. When political grudges spill over into the night, strange visions, whispered plots, and a deadly dance leave their mark on the medieval metropolis. In this episode, we follow an archbishop who can’t stop picking fights, a city that won’t bow, and the shadowy hands fanning the flames in between.
Rheingasse alley

In this small alley close to the Heumarkt square was the house where Archbishop Engelbert II was held captive by his 37 captors in 1263.
As you can see, the street has nearly nothing medieval like anymore. Except for the 13th century Overstolzen house in the middle.
County of Kleve

The County of Kleve (later Duchy) bordering the Archbishopric of Cologne (EBM CÖLN) in the north as a direct rival.
